DJ Melissa – DJ/Emcee

I’ve been part of the entertainment industry for over 20 years, and about three years ago, I stepped into the world of DJing—and instantly fell in love with it. Music has always spoken to me, but DJing opened a whole new door. It gave me the chance to be part of people’s biggest celebrations and create something meaningful in the moment. Every event is different, and that’s what I enjoy most—being able to freestyle my sets and truly read the room. I don’t believe in playing a set list just to get through it. I believe in going with the flow, feeling the energy, and building it up with intention so that the party comes to life in the most natural way.

Getting people dancing, smiling, and letting loose is one of my favorite things in the world. There’s nothing like seeing a packed dance floor and knowing that the music is connecting everyone in the room. It’s a feeling I never take for granted.

When I’m on the mic as an emcee, I keep the energy positive and vibrant. I aim to be uplifting and fun without ever taking the spotlight away from the couple or the guests of honor. I’m just there to help guide the experience and keep things running smoothly, all while keeping the energy right where it needs to be.

I consider myself incredibly lucky to do what I love. For me, DJing isn’t just about the music—it’s about creating a joyful, seamless experience where everyone feels included, excited, and fully present. Whether I’m behind the booth or on the mic, I’m always focused on bringing my best to every celebration. It’s a privilege I take seriously and a joy that keeps me inspired every single event.
